The Ombudsman Advisory Council is looking for new members

The Ombudsman Advisory Council consists of eight volunteers with specialized expertise in the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF). Their input directly impacts my office with strategic advice related to the mandate, professional principles and organizational structure. 

We are now in the process of creating a pool of candidates for current and future vacancies. The members of the Advisory Council are drawn from persons representing the Ombudsman’s constituency and stakeholder groups.

Whether you are a serving or retired CAF member (Regular Force or Reserve), a civilian DND employee, a Canadian Ranger, an employee of non-public funds, or a family member of any of the previously mentioned, I am convinced that you have experience and knowledge to bring to the table.

I encourage all of you who are interested in making a difference in your respective community to apply before 13 July 2018.
